Esta vez tuve el placer de hablar con Cristina quien es una tatuadora venezolana de 20 años que vive en Barcelona con 18.2k de seguidores es muy probable que ya la conozcas y aunque no lo hagas sigue leyendo, tendras ganas de seguirla.

1) ¿Quién es cristina? ¿Podrías describirte en 5 palabras?

Buena amiga, perseverante y necia como una mula.

2) ¿Cómo descubriste que querías ser tatuadora? ¿Presentó alguna dificultad o conflicto con alguien que no podía aceptarlo?

Me lo recomendó un artista que admiro mucho y si, mis padres se opusieron

mucho sobre todo porque no iría a la universidad. Me dejaron de apoyar económicamente y tuve que hacerlo todo sola. En la actualidad estamos bien, lo han aceptado y me apoyan, ha habido buena comunicación.

3) ¿Cómo lidiaste con eso?

Me lo esperaba, creo que por eso no me lo tome tan mal pero sí que me hubiese gustado que actuaran diferente, seguramente con su apoyo yo estaría más arriba en lo que hago.

4) por tu Instagram se puede dar a entender que eres una mujer con buena autoestima ¿Cómo llegaste a eso? ¿Tuviste que luchar por tu autoestima?

No creas que todas las cuentas como la mía las llevan chicas con autoestima, porque no suele ser así (lo digo porque conozco muchos casos de chicas que detrás de la pantalla son infelices consigo mismas). En mi caso actualmente tengo un autoestima sana, me costó una lucha interna, me ayudo encontrar el feminismo y el apoyo de otras chicas como yo, pasaron por épocas malas donde prácticamente nos odiábamos, y que gracias al dicho feminismo, hemos dejado eso atrás.

5) me gusta que hayas mencionado el feminismo porque de eso va la siguiente pregunta; he visto que muchos de tus posts son sobre la violencia de género y la igualdad ¿Cuál crees que es el paso más importante que la sociedad debe dar? Y ¿Qué es para ti el feminismo?

Lo sociedad tiene que dar muchos pasos en general, casi correr un maratón

entero para funcionar correctamente pero si es el caso de la desigualdad definitivamente lo primero es abrirse al feminismo.

Para mí el feminismo es lo que es, liberación de la mujer.

6) ¿Qué piensas de las “feminazi”? ¿No crees que hay personas que envían un mensaje erróneo del feminismo que va más hacia “odiemos a los hombres” que de “todos merecemos los mismos derechos”? 

La palabra feminazi es solo un invento de un señor que quería desprestigiar y como en todas la luchas hay gente que la lleva de manera desorbitada pero generalmente por ser personas abusadas, oprimidas, traumatizadas, que están enfadadas, no por eso debemos minimizar una lucha tan importante. Otra cosa que me gustaría recalcar es que muchas mujeres que la gente llama feminazi no promueven odio sino que quieren arrancar el problema de raíz. Pero la gente le teme a lo que desconoce por ende prefieren desprestigiar que empatizar.

7)  algunas mujeres que te inspiren.

Todas me inspiran en algo, todos tenemos algo que aportar y todas hemos superado de alguna manera nuestras barreras y seguimos luchando para llegar a ser lo que cada una quiere ser.

8) ¿Cómo fue el proceso de vivir en otro país? ¿Qué te costo más? Hay tantos venezolanos hoy huyendo ¿tienes algún consejo?

Para mí fue relativamente fácil porque tenía familia que me apoyo todo el tiempo pero si viví choques culturales y días sin dinero. Creo que lo único que puedo decirles es que piensen en la recompensa que tendrán todos sus esfuerzos. Lamentablemente en Venezuela ya no tiene reparo para nosotros los jóvenes y nuestro futuro esta afuera del país, por ello la mejor decisión que he tomado en la vida fue Salí de ahí, me ha abierto las puertas y me ha hecho crecer lo que no crecí toda mi vida. De verdad vale la pena.

9) ¿tienes algún mensaje o consejo para las niñas que quieren y detrás de sus sueños pero quizás desconfían de ellas mismas?

No quiero darles falsos mensajes motivacionales “tu puedes!!!” y ya, la vida esta llena de mierda y se van a topar con dificultades y gente que querrá hacerles daño pero la idea es ser inteligente y desconfiar, aprender de los errores y nunca tropezar con la misma piedra. Todo es ensayo y error y llega el momento en que agradecemos todo lo malo porque nos ha hecho dar un salto en madurez que podría haber durado años. Todas tenemos virtudes y todas somos fuertes solo que hay que enfocarse y poner esas metas, nuestra vida y bienestar por encima de cualquiera sin dañarnos.

10)  ¿hay algo que te gusta que nadie se podría imaginar al ver tu feed?

Pues algo que podría sorprender es que me encanta lo que tenga que ver con lo oculto, paranormal, misterioso, etc. A pesar de ser atea me encanta todo lo desconocido que pueda perturbarnos. Lo que a mucha gente le asusta a mi me entretiene.

11) última pregunta: ¿Dónde te veías hace 10 años? ¿Dónde crees que estarás en 10 más?

Si te soy sincera no recuerdo a los 10 años queremos ser demasiadas cosas, creo que a esa edad quería probar montañas rusas o algo así jajaja y en 10 años me veo viviendo del tatuaje y a lo mejor llevando una marca de ropa. Con muchos animales, junto a mi pareja y sin hijos.

this time we have Cristina who is a 20 years old venezuelan tattoo artist who lives in Barcelona, spain. with 18.2k followers you probably know about her but even if you don't keep reading because I'm you'll want to know her.

1) Who is cristina? can you describe yourself in 5 words? 

good friend, persistent and pawned like a donkie.

2) How did you discover you wanted to be a tattoo artist? did it cause trouble? was anyone against it? 

It was a recommendation from an artist I admire, and yes my parents were against it especially because I wasn’t going to college; they stopped giving me economic help and I had to scale by myself. Nowadays we`re in good terms, they accept it and support me; there has been a good communication.

3) how did you deal with it?



 I was expecting it, I think that’s why I didn’t feel so affected but I would have liked them to act differently, I’m sure that with their support I could have gone further in what I do.

4) because of your instagram we can asume you're a confident woman, how did you get your confidence? did you have to fight to get your self-steem?

Don’t think all the accounts like mine are manage by girls with a good self-esteem, there’s a chance it’s not the case (I say it because I know cases of girls who are unhappy with themselves behind the screen). In my case I have a healthy self-esteem I was a difficult inner fight, it helped me to find about feminism and  the support from others girls like me, there were bad times where we practically hated each other but thanks to feminism that’s all in the past.

5) I like that you mentioned feminism because next question is about that: in your post you talk a lot about genre violence and equality. what do you think it's the first step society has to give pro those things? and what is feminism for you?

Society needs to give many steps in general, almost to run a full marathon to correctly work but in the topic of equality the first step is opening to feminism.

And feminism is for me what it is, freedom for women.

6) what do you think about "feminazi"? don't you think there are some people who sends a message of "we hate men" more than one of "we all deserve the same rights"? 

The word feminazi was made by an old man who wanted to discredit and like

in every fight there are people who express it in exorbitant way but is generally by people who had been abused, oppressed, traumatized and they’re mad . Not because of that we have to minimize such an important fight. I another thing I want to point out is that many women tag as feminazi don’t promote hate instead they show the problem who the root. But people is afraid of what they don’t know so they prefer to discredit over empathize.

7) women that inspires you.

All women inspire me, we all have something to bring to the table and all of us have gone through our own barriers and we keep fighting to reach what each one of us want to be.

8) how is it like to live in a diferrent country? what was the hardest? with so many venezuelans running away from home do you have an advice for them?

It was relatively easy for me because I had family there who supported me but I went through cultural shocks and I spent days with no money. I think what I can tell them is to think about the reward at the end from all their hard work.

Sadly Venezuela has no repair and the youth’s future is outside of it that’s why the best decision I took was getting out of the country, it has took me places  and make me grow in a way what I haven’t all my life. It’s truly worthy.

9) do you have a message with little girls who want to go after their dreams but they might be doubting themselves?

I don’t to give false motivational messages like “you can do it!!!” life is full of shit and you’re going to go through difficulties and people who will want to hurt you the point is to be smart and distrust, learn about mistakes and never to keep tripping the same rock. It’s all essay and error and you come to a point where you’re grateful for the bad because it made you mature faster. We all have virtues and we’re strong, just focus and set your goals. Put your life and well-being before anything else without causing harms.

10) something you like no one would imagine if they only see your feed.

Something that can surprise is that I love the occult anything like paranormal, mysterious, etc. even when I’m atheist I love the unknown that can disturb us. Whatever people are scared of it entertains me. 

11) last question: what you wanted to be 10 years ago? where do you see yourself in 10 more? 

Being honest I don’t remember when you’re 10 years old you want to be a lot of things I think I wanted to get pay by testing roller coaster jajaja and in 10 years I see myself fully living from tattoo and maybe a clothing line, next to my partner with no kids.
